Static analog animation

For this project we developed an analog technique in which it is possible to let an image change 4 times in a single frame purely based on the changing perspective of the person walking by. For as far as we know we developed a new technique that doesn’t exist yet.

Architecture and public space

This technique offers great innovations in architecture and public space, we are currently developing it further for these purposes. Imagine changing patterns on walls of buildings or images that appear, transform and disappear purely based on you, as a person walking by.
Possibilities are endless!

Vergeet niet te vergeten / Do not forget to forget

”Vergeet niet te vergeten” is a 4 line poem that unveils itself while walking down the stairs. You can only read the full poem by walking the stairs, each descend is a change in perspective and will result in another line of the poem. Commissioned work made in collaboration with Belgium poet/writer Peter Verhelst for the project ”Uitgeschreven ruimte” organized by BKKC.

Poem:

VERGEET NIET TE VERGETEN                   DO NOT FORGET TO FORGET
VERGEET NIET TE VERGETEN                   DO NOT FORGET TO FORGET
VERGEET NIET TE VERGETEN                   DO NOT FORGET TO FORGET
VERGEET NIET TE VERGETEN                   DO NOT FORGET TO FORGET

Vergeet niet te vergeten
